• Design:
Luminaire poles are manufactured using high-quality extruded and heat treated AL6060-T6aluminium profiles and certified per EN 40 standards. These poles are designed for outdoor use, ensuring structural stability and durability, with height options ranging from 0.5 to 8 meters. The poles meet the highest standards of design and functionality for both architectural and urban applications.
• Shape:
The pole features a hexagonal cross-section with a visible aesthetic resembling a three-sided prism and a truncated top. The cross-section resembles an equilateral triangle with the following dimensional characteristics:
Longer sides of the hexagon measure between 70 and 200 mm in length.
Shorter sides measure between 4 and 12 mm, rounded with fillets in the range of 2 to 8 mm to ensure smooth transitions and avoid sharp edges.
The truncated top is angled at 45° to provide a modern, sleek appearance. Integrated within the visible three-sided prism are double slots on each side for IP67-rated electrical and mechanical connections of luminaires, ensuring functionality and ease of maintenance:
Electrical slot:
Designed for secure accommodation of flat cables, the slot features precise dimensions of 19.2x6.2 mm with bilateral tolerance of ±0.1 mm. Additional notches on both sides improve cable positioning and safety, ensuring a secure and robust electrical connection.
Mechanical slot:
Designed to allow secure attachment of light fixtures, the slot dimensions range from 45-55 mm in width and 5-6 mm in height. These slots ensure high mechanical stability for the mounted luminaires and are compatible with a wide range of fixtures.
• Slot Covers:
Slot covers are designed to mitigate the possibility of end-user contact with the flat cable and connections. The covers ensure cable is exposed, enhancing user safety and minimisingenvironmental factors such as water or dust intrusion. The covers attach to the pole through a reliable push-fit mechanism, producing an audible click upon secure assembly to confirm proper installation.
• Base:
The base is engineered in compliance with EN 40 standards to ensure safe and functional pole installation. Fixing bolt centers are precisely drilled as per the standard to facilitate secure mounting. Additionally, the base is designed to allow a ±15° adjustment in pole orientation, enabling easy alignment during installation.
• Utility Vault (Optional):
The optional utility vault is an underground compartment designed for electrical connections. It provides IP4X-rated protection for electrical components, ensuring long-term durability in harsh environmental conditions.
• Access Door:
The access door is securely fastened and designed to comply with EN 40 standards. It provides convenient access to the electrical connection box for maintenance or troubleshooting, while maintaining the overall integrity of the pole’s structure.
• Impact Resistance (IK Protection):
Certified IK10 impact resistance as per IEC 62262, ensuring the pole can withstand severe impacts, vandalism, or accidental damage without compromising its functionality or appearance.
• Ingress Protection (IP Rating):
The poles are IP66-rated, offering protection against dust ingress and water spray from all directions, making them suitable for outdoor environments, including challenging weather conditions.
• Material:
Manufactured using high-strength aluminium alloy Al6060-T6, which provides excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. The wall thickness of the extrusion ranges between 2.5 and 5 mm, depending on structural requirements, ensuring optimal strength-to-weight ratio.
• Surface Protection:
Primary Layer:
The aluminium surfaces undergo an anodization process in accordance with ISO 7599:2018. This provides a durable, corrosion-resistant finish that enhances the natural protective oxide layer of the material.
Secondary Layer:
Powder coating is applied as per Qualicoat standards to add an additional layer of protection and aesthetic appeal. The coating is rigorously tested for UV resistance, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability, complying with ISO 2812, EN 12206-1, and ASTM D823 standards.
• Environmental and Material Compatibility:
The poles are specifically designed for harsh environments, including those with high chlorine exposure and marine settings. The combination of anodization and powder coating ensures the poles maintain their structural integrity and appearance in such conditions.
• Passivation (Stainless Steel Components):
Stainless steel components, including bolts and fasteners, are made from AISI316L stainless steel and undergo passivation in accordance with ISO 15730:2023. This process enhances the natural corrosion resistance of the material by removing contaminants that may contribute to corrosion and ensures long-term durability in challenging environments.
• Thermal Performance:
The poles are designed to maintain optimal performance in a wide range of temperatures, making them suitable for both extreme hot and cold climates. Aluminium's excellent thermal conductivity also helps dissipate heat from any electrical components installed inside.
• Sustainability:
Aluminium poles are fully recyclable, contributing to a sustainable approach in urban and architectural lighting design. The manufacturing process adheres to environmentally friendly practices, minimizing waste and ensuring compliance with international environmental standards.

• Cable: Outer jacket made of EPDM elastomeric rubber, conforming to VDE 0250-809, IEC 60228 and EU-Directive 2014/35/EU (Low Voltage Directive). Weather-resistant for harsh environmental conditions and dry, damp or wet areas. The core consists of an electrolytic flexible bare copper conductor conforming to UL 62 and UL 1581 standards. The cable provides 24VDC supply on within the electrical slot and up until the junction box within the pole itself
• Installation: Designed for screw in installation, ensuring no visible components after installation, allowing the product to blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment.
